This 3-hour CEU webinar explores types of grief such as anticipatory grief, disenfranchised grief, ambiguous loss, and disoriented grief. Various approaches and techniques will be discussed to include the Dual Process Model, Narrative Therapy, differential grief in families, and adaptive grieving styles. Examples of practical applications will be explained that involve imaginal dialogue with the deceased, attempts to make sense of the senseless, the creation and use of rituals, and experiential endeavors with music and art. A demonstration will be provided. We will also explore the clinical role of bearing witness to grief. Upon receipt of the evaluation you will receive a certificate reflecting 3 CEUs.
